AOD Shift Kits

    For a street/strip car, heavy on the street.. what shift kit should i get to perk things up.

    Baumann works pretty good.
    What do you want it to do?
    I run one behind a blower in a 4000 lb EFI car.
    If you running a 600 cfm carb, it's a bit small for the engine you have speced.

    yeah 600 might puss out in the higher RPMS , i know alot of guys argue this but for the set up you have those afrs are goin to move some air , and it WILL need some fuel

    just put a Baumann kit in mine and love it...M.A.V. told me about them after he put one in his sons stang...frank...:bouncy:

    K found the site. I never had heard of Baumann till now so thanks.

    Some good stuff on AOD tech there too.

    That exactly why i ask. You guys have done it all before.


    The engine is at Carl McQuinlins for assembly. break in and dyno. We will see what the little 600 will do. Ill have him try a 650 speed demon and 750.
