This is like the only picture I have of the 72 Grabber that I sold back in 1999/2000 to somebody in Texas .... 302/4-speed with all original black bucket interior. Has anyone ever seen it around? I sold it to Finance my son .... ....
You Should Put Out An Apb For It And Try To Re-buy It. If It's In Any Kind Of Decent Shape, With The Way It Looks I Would Hope Someones Been Taking Care Of It, Looks Good!!!!!!
Dan, I remember the ad in old ford trader. I thought about buying it. I think the add said nicest maverick around. NOS parts used etc.... Lance
Can you track down who you sold it to and start from there? Which part of Texas was he/she from? (it is sort of a big state )
No idea ... sold it on eBay ... guy sent a Hauler Company to come get it ... I'm not interested in buying it or anything ... was just curious if anyone ever saw it around ... The color is 1994 Ford Chrome Yellow ... This was a nice car ... buy my current Grabber is much Nicer ....
I have found websites for different states that allow you to use the VIN to track a vehicle. I don't know if there is such a site for Texas, but it would be a place to look. Another thought is CarFax... How far back (year model wise) do they track VINs? Do they track all VINs, or just those through dealerships? If they track through insurance records and such, they just might find a hit. Google the VIN... Some thoughts... Dave
Btw: If I was looking for a car that I knew who the first owner was, and who/where he bought the car from, as well as where/when he sold it... How could I use this info to find the VIN, or better yet the car? I have been looking for my dad's 71 Stang for years. I found the site where I can track the car through Florida, but I need the VIN. All the paper from the car is gone, so that has become a dead-end. Ideas? Dave
