    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P

    i hear yah but what some people don't understand if just be cause you put a scoop on your car and seal if off doesn't mean you getting air... most of the time it just heads right over the scoop... thats why prostock scoops are in the right area.. as for where the filters are in that photo it is no worse then a stock 14inch filter if you as me. hot air rises... and as far as the hondas... your correct and you correct on where you put it... but remember mavericks never had a stock air box... the reason for OEM cars to have one... to keep the heat out. maveircks only had that clunkly heat attracting air cleaner attached to the manifold to heat it up... lol! if anything you can move those filter to where ever you want. ;)

    i hear ya though...did not know about the scoop thing though.

    guess its like the rear spoiler....most are there for show and some are engineered to work.

    are those foose rims ?
