Another rear end question

Will a 9 inch rear fit from either a 73 Ranchero or a 77 Cougar into a 70 Mav?

 

Not bolt in...
And probably not without narrowing...

Ok thats all I needed to know thanks so much. That Granada in the yard turned out to be an 8 inch which is too small for what I need. Thanks for your help Ratio

That's kind'a far from me. I am in southern Colorado. How much do they want for it?...

 

Any of you Colorado guys,ever raced at Pueblo Motorsports Park?A fellow Mavericker ,two brothers actually,gave me scoops for my hood.Without me asking.They raced an early model Grabber.Great folks out there.

 

I was there just a few weeks ago. I probably know the "brothers" you are talking about...

 

I think they wanted about 80-90 no brakes and about 120 or so with drums It may have been more like 70 for the axle no brakes. I can check at some point if you like.

I know this isn,t the right forum guys,but,Iwas wondering exactly where you guys are.I was stationed at Fort Carson for 4 1/2 years, thats where my pal Andy convinced me to put a Windsor in my 72.He had a 79 mustang with a 460 9 inch black steel wheels luggage rack .The meanest sleeper i ever knew.

 

I am in Greeley CO dunno how far that is from where you were but I am about 45 to an hour north of Denver.
