and is there a vehicle a 50oz 157t 1p seal flex plate comes in?

Yes i know i can order this from summit or jegs before i get this as an answer.

    thanks for any help.

the 1p seal came on the late 5.0...50oz. 164...(c4-AOD)
the 2p came on the early 302...28oz....164 and 157...(c4)
most have to order the 157...50oz. plate
this would be my guess :Handshake

Thanks Frank, but what i am really asking is what makes each flex plate unique. Is the bolt pattern different or is the back spacing different, what? the reason i am asking is i have one for a 2p seal, but not the 1pseal which is the engine i have. If it is only a spacing issue then i may be able to remedy it with a spacer.

let me cccccccccc...the only diff. in flexplates for 302-5.0 is...28oz. 157T,
    28oz. 164T...50 oz. 157T and 50 oz. 164T.
the year motor and trans. combo. decides the flexplate.:yup:
    example...my '72 302 w/c4...28 oz. 157T
    ...my '72 302 w/AOD...28 oz.164T
    ...my new motor :D '87 5.0 w/AOD...50 oz. 164T :yup:
don't know of any ...spacers or any bolt pattern diffs.
    is this a stock mav./comet c4?

i have never heard of them being described as 1p-2p seals.

Frank, that is what i thought too. The reason i have this question is when i was looking to order a flex plate for my engine 86 302 to connect to c4 small bell housing, I looked at the summit websitehttp://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?SearchType=Engine&N=700+4294908331+4294840126+4294889096+4294925134+4294863762+4294905612+4294863728+115+4294871826 and it reads as if there is a difference.

    Thanks for your time.

Adairsville Ga. parkwayperformance.com 1 888 367 3788 x120 I dealt with Joe. Tell him Dave Stuckey in Pittsburgh Pa sent you. (Still working on my trip to Virigin Islands he he)

10 bucks cheaper than summit and they beat summit on my c-4 by $200

Great Guys to deal with and will make sure you get the right parts! Good Luck
