hello everyone! maverick lovers are al over the world. can anyone help me locate a f rt fender for a 1970 grabber?
fenders I have some here at Camp Buehring, you should have said something when you were here. No just kidding, take care and remember, just as in Vietnam, you can always trust a friendly local. And it's easy to tell which locals are friendly, they're dead.
thanks thanks for the reminder rick. im just learning how to use this thing thats why i didnt say anything. im one of the crazy maveric lovers who cant wait to get my baby back on the road. any help would be appreciated.
welcome to the board. what's the location of the maverick. if it's in the states when will you be returning?
contractor hey eddie nice to meet u i am one of the crazy contractors in baghdad. originally from michigan. looking forward to getting my girl back on the road
i also have a 1960 mercury comet that needs some work but my baby is my maverick. my dad had the same car when i was a kid and if its the last thing i ever do it will be restored.
Welcome aboard. You should be able to find some members fairly close to you (in Michigan) that can help you with a fender. Good luck over there and stay safe.
to the board. Lots of members in Michigan & Ohio. You'll get your fender when you get back, I'm sure of it.....
Welcome. How is the weather over there? Getting cold yet? The last time I was there in Jan it was a mud pit. I spent 12 months in Mosul and 7 in Anaconda from Apr of 04 to Dec of 05. I am with ya. Keep your head down and stay safe. I am headded back that way on the 11th of Feb but I will not be comming back to Iraq. I will be taking a position in the U.A.E.. Better pay and dont have to deal with all that is going on there. Thanks for doing what you do for all the soldiers. Sometimes we contractors are just viewed as monitary mercinaries and people dont see what we are really doing there and the sacrifices we make to be there. Good luck to you in the comming months and come home safe. Don
