Need a rear seat cover for a 71....Black... I can't find them in the catalogs online. How much do they go for?

Good question, I took my rear seat out to keep it protected until I can have it reupholstered. I would have rather covered it (to keep the dog from damaging it). I never found one that fit.

JC Whitney sells kits, I forget what company they were, I want to say auto custom interiors, and they fit pretty nice, not concourse show quality, but nice enough for a rod or driver. Front and rear bench set cost me 230 I think and we recovered the seat, but you can use it as just a cover as well

Oh, those are WAY too nice. Not what I was looking for. These are like getting it reupholstered.

I just wanted a cheap "horse-blanket" type cover, like you used to see in all the front bench seats in pickups...Just to protect the foam and upholstery from dog hair, slobber, and toenails.

I got the carpet for mine at automotiveinteriors.com. Haven't put it in yet, though.

I was considering the seat covers, do they fit nicely?

Dog hair, Dog slobber, and Dog toenails.

She has worn through the stock fabric in one spot, and before she damaged the foam, I took the seat out and put a carpet-covered plywood "perch" in the back for her. I want to someday recover the seats in leather, after she is gone, and want to be sure the foam is still all there.
