Mini meets are few and far between, and the Round-Up only happens once a year. I thought this might be a way to get more Maverick and Comet owners together. I may have gone off the deep end, but here's the idea. What if we could start with one person (in lets say, New Jersey) takes a picture (disposable camera) of him or her with the car at the coast. Then later meets up with a person farther west, takes a picture of the 2 cars together, then hands the camera off to that person, and they meet up with some one farther west of them, and so on and so forth until the camera reaches the west coast. (it may take a few extra cameras along the way). Then that person mails the camera to someone that could set up a web site to post all of the pictures. This way we could all be involved without too much travel time invested. Just a thought. Russ

And then we could start one in the south and go to Canada, or vice versa.

russ you are out of your freakin mind...I LOVE IT!!!!!!! but how to map this out. my southern friends have a valid point. maybe i should head south towards dennis? he can pass it on to our southern boys? sounds like a great idea... just have to work out the logistics. i guess everybody who is interested should "sign up" so we don't miss anybody. then we can plan the cameras' journey.

Opps, sorry Mike. Of course to Alaska too. It could be a long drive for someone up there.
How about Hawaii? Who volunteers to meet halfway? LOL.

Whooo!!! I'm glad you guys thing its a good idea(wife thought I was nuts) It will take some work but I fgure I could map out the country and see where everyone would be. Then try and connect the dots. Maybe start it on both coasts and meet in the middle? It would be sweet if the camera's meet at the Round-Up for a "golden spike" ceremony. I like to get as many people involved as possable to keep everyone drive distance to a minimum. So how about everyone e-mail me their location and how far you would be willing to drive(radius miles from home) and I'll start to put something together. I bet for a small fee each we could get some dash plaques made up. hummm. E-mail me at russsmav@yahoo.com (notice it has 3 "s") Later. Russ
