well i havent been on here in a while. but anyways i traded my maverick for an elcamino sold the elcamino bought a crapalier off my parents and messed it up drving . but anyways i was watching mythbusters and there was a myth that it you have a hole in your radiator and put an egg in it, it will seal up the hole so you can get home. they tested it and it worked.the hole went from leaking to completly stopped and trickled a lil after that. they also used cola as radiator coolent and that worked also.

another thing to try in the radiator is tobacco. just pull a couple of cigarettes apart and drop them in the radiator. actually i always carry a tube of stop leak in the trailer with me.:)

One thing I used to fix a radiator one time was Gorilla Glue...

I used it because we had it at work and i could see where the coolant was coming out of.....

Years ago, at a race track, I saw an old timer use a hot dog bun in his International hauler radiator. I didn't stick around to watch it work or not but I do know he drove it home later that night.

I have also heard that pepper will do the trick, and that was coming from from a mechcanic who was fixing cars BC. ( before computers).

Even Anna laughed at that one, and almost fell off her chair.

I have had good success with coarse ground black pepper. Run it a while, when the leak stops, drain the fluid to get the loose stuff out, and the chunks that stick in the cracks and swell up stay in there.

Got about 60k miles on that fix until I gave the truck away.
