I have a 289 with flat top pistons, world products windsor sr heads that is about 9.5:1 compression, c4 with a tranny brake. it runs 12.30s at 110 in tucson which is at 3075' elevation but the corrected altitude is never that good. don't know what it ever is, the only time our weather station comes out is at super comp races but there haven't been any since we got my car.

yeah they flow a little too much but. it had a set of stock 69 widsor heads that were ported pretty well and i was footbreaking it. now it runs about a tenth quicker. havent really had time to change the heads back though to see what will happen with the tranny brake. oh yeah, the cam is pretty big

um i think it was like .500 something lift but I don't remember and the person we bought the car from didn't know anything about the motor. I do know that it is a solid lifter. what is the elevation of at your track. it has gone 11.90s on pump gas-91 octain at Firebird which is a lower than SIR. it has a 9 inch and the suspension is stock with slapperbars with 90/10 shocks up front
