heads?

    are you uesing an electric fuel pump or a macanical pump?

    using a mechanical pump and yes its pulling off of the small terminal on the solenoid ..anyone suggest a better place to run it off of ... thats one thing i didint think of

    you can disconect the wire, and adjust the choke houseing so the choke stays open all the time.

    Just a shot in the dark, but the mechanical pump has an internal pressure bypass, (5 to 7 psi I think) if this fails the pump can put to much fuel pressure to the carb and flood it.

    i didint think the choke could pull some of the voltage away like that but it makes sence that the choke power failed and it was hooked up to something else when i went to fix it i just looked for something that was hot when key was on and the solenoid was it so this makes a lot of sence think i may add a fuel regulater also just for the heck of it

    isn't there a lead off of the factory harness for the choke?
