Subframe connectors installed finally!

    Finally got these in and welded up. Still have to finish some of the front floor pans to be completely done with the floor but its almost there. Going to run seam sealer in the interior and underneath as well. I have most of the passenger side interior already sealed. Then some undercoating for the bottom and I can move on to the body work! :yahoo:
    Sprayed some black rustoleum since it was bare metal, needed something to protect it. You can also see how much the leaf spring was moved inboard.

    Looks good!! How about some pics of how you re-mounted the spring in the front and rear.

    The springs are cut in half sorta like FatMan's "wonder bar setup". Im going to put a bar between the upper frame rails and use coilovers and I have a panhard bar to weld up so hopefully it will all work out. But I will take a pic of the fronts.

    I've heard of several people going that route......I guess you are going for the "g-machine" look?? I've thought about doing a triangulated 4-link, I think reinforcing the stock floor pans "correctly" would be the challenge....even fox-body mustangs have problems w/ ripping out the control arm mounting points.

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
