another bit of info if youre maverick has the original windshield the glass was a true 1/4 inch thick youre replacement will be 3/16 thick so you will want to use a new gasket that accepts the 3/16 glass and use lots and lots of lquid butyl sealer or it will leak like a submarine with a screen door in it

So since you are a glass expert....I would really like for you to start a seperate post on how to properly install glass in a Maverick. Seems like it is a common discussion on here.

I wonder if the Windshield rubber seals that AK sells are of the 3/16" variety or the original 1/4" ones?

Now that the glass thickness can-o-worms has been opened, how thick is the glass for the rear? Stock and aftermarket. This one is directed more towards all4glass

I got my new gaskets from AK and had no trouble installing the new windshield or the old back glass. No Leaks, No Drips, No Errors Perfect!

I need a new winshield for my Mav also. There is a company here called Maverick auto glass, they have them for $150 installed last I checked. Just got a nice crack in my Cherokee today too so now I need 2 windshields, maybe I can get a deal.
