Wow... I've been away for a couple of days in HOTTT Las Vegas. I will catch up briefly on the post. Derrick, I was waiting to hear your car before we left. Will read up on articles posted as well.

    Thanks

Hack is a term, like "ink stained wretch", for those of us in the publishing business. None of us take offense, just as I am sure you won't take any when your girlfriend refers to you as an "average joe".

Lets stick to business guys. Sorry for not posting earlier... didn't know this was going on in the interim.

Here's my combo guys. I have been following the post on FM about the X/H pipe. Derrick, I know you have the X. I would have liked to hear your car when I was there... Does it have a nice muscle car sound to it.

This is not a track car, but should be a pretty stout street car and a lot better than the tired I6 that was in there.

WHAT SIZE PIPES GUYS. I WILL BE GOING TO THE XHUST SHOP NEXT WEEK.

    stock 302 .40 over

    cam: is custom grind .480I/.505E @50 217-227

heads: 194x160 chevy valves/guide plates/comp roller rockers/comp hardened push rods

    eidelbrock 500 cfm manual

    eidelbrock rmp intake

I added a windage tray. Oldtimers believe in these and believe you can get an extra 15-20 hp from these. Really don't know?

x-pipes sounds more exotic then muscle cary but then again thats the muffers too doing that. but the supercharger wine kills that thought. ;) flowmaster with x-pipe sound like this... http://maverickman.com/VideoMavrickManbestrun.mpg not like flows at all... which i like.

with that set up and after all that debate :p just use 2-1/2 you want muscle car sound flowmaster or any chambered muffer will do. but on a everyday car its too loud... i'm geting old and the noise bugs after spending 1-1/2 in trafffic one way every day! but if your gonna run 3 inch run it after the muffler

    Derrick,
Yeah tell me about it. I don't want loud either. That will annoy me as well.

    Thanks all for the input.
