I took the mav out to the track today and my first run i hit 12.97 at 101.87mph... all belts stayed on just fine and it ran well stickin right around the 13 sec mark. i went a couple rounds then red lite...running well but alternator wires are loose, wont be a hard fix, but im excited for the solid runs put into today...ill keep everyone updated as we improve it hopefully making it a solid 12's car. i also want to thank steve and my dad for helping me and making this all work.

    thanks kevin

I put both a deep groove alternator pulley on that is like 4" in diameter and then we put the smaller deep groove pulley on the crankshaft....when assembling i took off all the pulley's and made everything was lined up perfectly.......I go to Infineon in Sonoma

Goose, where are you in the Bay Area? I am in Santa Rosa and have been to "Sears Point" (original name) many times with my Maverick. Nice to start seeing more out there. And congrats on a great time. Scott
