a/c

    on mavs with a/c there is only 1 power wire that leads to compressor right? is there a ground that also comes out of the compressor?? to ground it to chassis? thanks

    The compressor gets its ground through the rigid mount to the engine.

    the reason i ask is, im using 87-93 mustang compressor, and the prong that plugs into that compressor has two wires leading into plug, ones black, other is black with yellow stripe, not sure if one is a ground, and one is a power wire??

    I have the mustang compressor and you are right one of the wires is a ground wire the other is power. I don't beleave it matters which you use for the ground becuase it just charges the magnet.

    would you suggest putting a fuse in between compressor and switch? i have factory in dash a/c and it has just the one wire for compresspor

    If its factory air, there is alredy a fuse in the fuse block. That should be all you need
