thanks, 7 rounds and carrying the potential bye from third round all the way to the semis and didn't have to buy back. pretty good day and it even payed for the weekend . don, nope no new parts soon but half goes to paying my car off and the rest just goes to our racing fund. a fun weekened in the end
Well done for sure...I don't know if Big Bucks means the same everywhere but here it's 7500.00 clams for no-box class and 10,000.00 for box and it's usually the last race of the season. Any how that's quite a feat....congrats.
no its only $1000 here but we cant get people to show up for that with a $75 entry for both sat and sun... $75 to race for $2000 in no box $125(maybe $135 cant remember) to race for $6000 total. don where were you?? oh yeah i have a gold card so it was just pay for my gas and go to the track
i went to the mountains. nice and cool there. bob and i both went.we got a call from the track and they said we couldn't park in our regular spots as they wanted them for the funny cars, so we just didn't go. we paid $150 for those spots and were told they only couldn't be used for the division races. now they figure we're second class racers. one thing to take the spot away for some display, but to take it away to let someone else park there that only shows up once a year and pays no entry fee???? hard decision since i too have a gold card and race for free. guess it's the principle of the thing.
ya, i understand. i was wondering what they did about those spots. they lined the funnycars up along the grandstands so the crowd could see them from the stands it looked like. on saturday we got home at 3:15 sunday morning and we were there since noon with the jrs. long day.
