More racing video!! Click on the links below for more comet racing video (not my car. I wish!). I am hosting these videos until stefan comes up with a solution to our video needs!! Stefan, would it be possible to have a video link on the main page (where you can view the mav pictures) for members cars. I know this takes up a lot of hd space and bandwidth so I dont know if you will be able to do this. I just thought it would be a nice feature (and probably one of the most popular). yep, it sucks.....no matter how fast you are there is always someone that's faster.......sometimes they're chebbies I like your car though, definitely a good looking Maverick!!!! You'll notice that on the 6.34 pass I had a slight problem with the transbrake, jumped the start and the guy in the other lane disqualified with a red light. Those guys in the Real Street class are extremely fast....he went a 5.74 I think on that pass. The fastest pass in that class is a 5.54 on stock suspension.

Let me ask ya though... in that class your talking about. If I was to make my maverick a full frame,,, would it still qualify for that class...... Even with it tubbed? just a thought of mine... Hey Ron......... I am almost positive that ANY heads-up street car racing sanctioned event that would even ALLOW a tubbed car(if there is any) to race would be in a "outlaw street" or something like that and them cars a very fast! I think the class here at the valley that allows unlimited tire size are running in the mid 4 second range at a minimum weight of around 2800 without any power adders............thats fast!

yeah, the guys in outlaw 10.5 are running in the 4.70's on a 10.5W slick....I think it actually measures like 11.5" contact patch.....
