Maverick Man's Cowl Hood Painted

    Here's a few shots of my car with my new hood from Maverick Man. I painted it to match the car. This is his fiberglass one, but it is identical to the carbon fiber hood in shape and size. Just thought you guys might like to see what the carbon fiber ones would look like if they were painted.

    I have been putting off painting my car for over 5 years, and you haven't had this hood for more than a couple weeks and already have it painted...

    Thanks for the compliment and yeah, I really do want to black out the center like the Grabber hood somehow...I think it would look pretty cool.

    at least with the f/g hood you dont have to feel bad about painting over it. if i had the c/f piece i'd want people to know it was there :)

    the car looks great erick. do you know how much the hood weighed after you painted it? just wonderin because i have been thinkin about getting one in a little while but didn't want it to be much heavier than the hood i have now.

    That looks really nice. In my opinion...for some reason the cowl scoop doesn`t look as big as it does on the "unpainted" carbon fiber hood.

    And I actually like it better that way.

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    i don't like it... it needs a carbon fiber gabber one on it... lol! i'll buy it back for $25 bucks
