I have manual brakes (disc), which is all you need on a Maverick anyway, but I love my power steering and automatic transmission. They are stock as well. I'd never want a 3 on-the-three, and if the car had it, I'd change it...

99% stock. All but the added cd player and speakers. I love it. It probably wont always be stock though. I will make changes down the road.

My all red 77' Maverick is about 80% stock. The 302 looks stock, but is slightly built up on the inside and all the smog crap has been removed. The duel exhaust, radio and speakers are not stock. Opps. I forgot about the color. Originaly the car was silver. I'm not sure if that counts or not. The other 77' Maverick is about 90% stock. The engine and transmission had already been replaced with ones from a 74' Comet when we bought the car. The only other things that are not stock are the radio and speakers.

Like I always say; "Stock is boring".

I went to the local cruise-night tonight, and there was a bone-stock '69 Camaro there. It looked nice & super clean, but it was so boring to me, being completely stock.

This probably has nothing to do with the original question though, so I apologize...

Mine is more stock than most. Still has manual drum brakes, column shift auto, bench seat, body completely restored to original. It did originally have power steering but its manual now. Oh, it used to have a 302 but now has a 351W. But, as long as the hood is closed its 95% original. I knocked off 5% for the radials and non stock wheels and dual exhaust.:burnout:

I have a 71 that was 3 on the tree but I found a factory floor shifter so I converted it.

i ran into a woman at a gas station with a '73 4r. it WAS a I6-3 on the tree but when she had the tranny rebuilt the shop lost pieces to the linkage and they couldnt find a replacment. how did they fix it? they converted it to a floor shift.
