"Usually" it will be lower and ride softer. Different offset wheels have an affect, too. Wheels that are offset to the outside put more leverage on the control arm/spring and lowers the car. Wheels tucked in farther have less leverage and can raise the car. That's how I managed to put 15" wheels on mine with 6 cylinder springs.
I think it depends alot on what the 6 cylinder car they came off of was optioned with. My '69.5 and my '72 were both non A/C 200 6 cylinder cars. They have very soft front springs. My '73, however, had A/C and a 250. I removed all the A/C stuff and put a 200 in the car, and the front end sits very high now and it rides harsh due to the stiffer springs. The engine is only temporary though so the car will move under it's own power.
