it's been 3 years sents I did the granada conversion and now I need new outer tie rod ends... thing is I forgot exactly which tie rod ends to get. I've been trying to find a place where I can search and choose between drum or disk so I can have a more definitive choice but I can't find that I do on the other hand find differant part numbers for a '74 marverick and a '75 maverick or a '80 granada. my conversion parts came from a granada but I don't know what year. I'm looking to get MOOG tie rods, does anyone know if any of the chain stores carrie these on a regular basis? if not I know of a online parts store I can get theme from. Thank you.
Granada spindles are the same as Maverick. Order some for a '77 Maverick. They will be what you need...
I forget, does the same thing go for the ball joints as it does for the tie rod ends? or does it not matter with the ball joints?
If in doubt, use the correct parts for the spindle application. You can look all this stuff up on Advance Auto's, Autozone's and other parts suppliers sites.
