i really like the look of the early grills with the madallion in the center and was seriously thinking of putting one on my car. is it just a clip on piece or would i also need an early grill to go with it? my '76 grill did have a plastic slat up the center that cliped on but i took that off a while ago and bolted in one of those "maverick" emblems that sit next to the drivers side turn signal. if i get a madallion should i take the other emblem out or would both look good?
The early grilles have the circular piece molded into them, you can't just put one on a later model grille. The chrome medallion sits on top of this. I may have an extra early grille around here though if you want to possibly make a trade or something...
