found a vin plate up inside my dash?

    as i was putting in the package try i had my hand all up behind the dash. i felt this little piece of metal nestled up behind the a/c heat controlls. i pull it out and see thats its a vin plate. my first thought it that someone must have punched through that vin plate and replaced it with the current one. but i lined that vin plate up next to my current one and they were exactly the same
