I was wondering if anyone knows where this boss maverick went to. It was made by a guy in my hometown, Roosevelt, Ut. his last name was anderson. Well anyway he moved to rangley, co. and thats when he sold the car. A person from cali. bought it. I wish I had pics of it. But I will try to describe it. It has black interior, bucket seats. Red paint job, with black boss strips. Had the shaker hood also. I wanted to buy it long ago, but someone beat me too it. Does anyone know of where it is?
The general consensus is that there are NO BOSS MAVERICKS...but we would all love to be proven wrong Try to scrounge up some pics. The elusive BOSS Maverick is like an urban legend on this forum. We are pretty sure none ever came from the factory with a BOSS 302, but someone, somewhere has had to have put one together aftermarket...
this was no original boss car that I know, he modified it to look like a boss mustang. But he did have an boss engine in it.
He said in the original post that someone built it, not that it was original. You must be having too much Jack Daniels for breakfast or something... You seem to have trouble navigating around here lately, with dual (disappearing) threads and all...
Maybe? I took this picture about 6-8 years ago at the Route 66 Rendezvous held in San Bernardino. I do not know anything about the car or the owner. That was the only time I ever saw the car. Pretty sure that it was a 5.0 - 5 speed. This is one of the cars that got me thinking about a Grabber or Comet GT in my future. Maybe except for the gold stripes?
That is a great looking car and the scoop doesn't even look that bad but I don't care for a scoop with grabber scoops. Love the stance and color combo.
i posted up a ford carlisle '07 pic over the summer of a red maverick with a cobra jet shacker scoop. if you feel like running a quick search im sure it will pop up
