Guys, The revised registration is now on the TVMC web site but here is the run down. They have a club meeting on the 4th monday of each month. I missed last months and will be going this month to verify our mini meet. But since the Short Horns doesn't list a tennessee rep any more I guess I will un offically take his place( at least for the east tennessee side) Hosted by Tennessee Valley Mustang Club at Country Inns and Suites,204 Sharon Road, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee . Event hours are Saturday, Sept 22nd 7:30AM-5PM and Sunday the 23rd 9AM-2PM. Link to the registration page. http://clubs.hemmings.com/clubsites/tvmc/shows.htm Robert
OK boys and girls, I have talked to the show chairperson this evening. He is wanting me to attend their board meeting july 9th to iron out the details of the show. According to Jim they expect several ford clubs to be represented and an estimated 200+ cars from all over the eastern states. Attached is the form to send in for those that want to attend. Please read it carefully so there isnt any suprises. We will have an area to park together, and he wants to get a count of all of us who plan to attend and have cars to show, so by the 9th, I would like to have a count from all those going to attend. Robert
I plan to have my '73 together enough by then. My brother will drive the '72. Unfortunately, the '73 currently looks like this, but will be spray bombed flat black with some bumpers, valances and hubcaps on it by then.
Comin up for the weekend or just saturday? Lets get as many as we can....lets show the mustang club that they have competition. Robert
just in case you didn't catch the fine print on the registration form....the hotel that the event is being held at is charging 25 bucks for every car that the attendee's are not staying at the hotel. According to sources most of the hotels up there are doing the same because of a lot of local people coming and taking up space and not staying......bumber I am only about an hour away and I will be staying. Robert
Ok all you guys in the east tennessee area ....lets hear from ya. I know there is at least 3 on here that don't belong to any of the clubs, but that doesn't exclude you from going and showing off your rides. Robert
I went to the TVMC board meeting tonight....looks to be drawing a crowd. some mustangs coming up from florida. They said we can park together and display club banners. The parking is first come first server, but they said we should be able to take up row 5 or 6 in the parking lot. They request that I try and get a count so they will know how many spots need to be reserved for us. Robert
so this is in september would love to go have to see how money is before i say yes or no ill have to see.
Just A Reminder Just a reminder, the Tennessee Valley Mustang Club's Mustang and all ford show is in a couple of weeks, Sept 22 and 23. I would like to get a count of all that will try and attend. I will be taking the new Grabber (If I get it Road Worthy) just to have a Maverick presence. There should be a link in one of the previous post to the event. Need help with where to go, stay or see just hollar. I will be taking a day off on the 21st so I will be able to meet anyone anywhere. To Any of the club Pres's I will print out the club's membership sign up sheets and taking them with me. If there is any thing you guys can thing of that I need to do let me know. This is the first time for me I'm a virgin.Robert

Sorry Robert, doesn't look like I will make it. My '73 is having charging problems, and the engine in my '72 is going down hill fast and I will likely be swapping it out this weekend. Maybe next year.
