Hey gang, I'm Joe and I just picked up a 71 Maverick. I got turned on to these cars by my brother, he had a 71 Comet GT that was crazy fast. I just got this car and I want to go with a sorta Grabber route with a 5 lug upgrade and stuff, so I may have a few dumb questions to ask here and there so be kind.
No pics yet, but I am poking through the gallery trying to get some ideas. The car I'm starting with is an original owner Mav with about 68,000 miles on it. It's got a straight six and factory a/c and pwr steering but thats about it. my first upgrade I want to do it convert to a 5 lug rear and front 5 lug discs.....I've heard that granada and mustang front spindles and rotors will work but I'm having a tough time with the rear set up. granada rears are a tough find around here......I have a 69 Mustang 9 inch but I have yet to do any measuring.....I only just got the car home last weekend.
