Does anyone have a source for a complete set of plastic clutch/brake pedal assembly bushings? In the picture, the 4 on the left are for either side of the pedal main frame and also fit either side of the brake pedal. These large ones I can get new from Autocrafters or any Mustang site. The medium size one second from the right goes in the clutch pedal where the clutch rod goes and the small one on the far right is for the brake pedal where the brake rod and brake light switch go. I think that there might be 2 of the small ones that go to the brake pedal rod. The 2 on the right I can't seem to locate new anywhere. Has anyone tried to buy them new or would anyone have some that are in nice shape that they want to sell? My pedal assembly is restored now and I don't want to put it back together with any broken bushings. Thanks as always, Bob
The ones for the brake can be bought from any Mustang parts place. I don't know if they are the same but listed as Master Cylinder Push Rod bushing. I've got a CJ Pony Parts catalog in front of me and they are on page 72 at the bottom. I would think that you get them elsewhere though. - Matt
go to mustangsteve.com and get the bearing setup....think that is what I am going to do. http://www.mustangsteve.com/clutchbearings.html Robert
I called Autokrafters and ordered 4 of their #B7AZ-2471B “Brake & Clutch Pedal Bushings”. They fit on either side of the brake pedal and either side of the hanging pedal assembly just perfectly. Then I contacted Jeff at Autokrafters and asked about the pedal rod bushings and here is his response to me:“The brake push rod bushing is listed on page 63 part #C9AZ-2474A and on page 52 part #C0AZ-7526B is used for the clutch rod at the equalizer, this bushing may work for the pedal rod also”.Turned out that I was ordering from an old catalog and they had them in the new one. Time to put in a new order.
