There was someone who had a straight axle set up. He brought it to a few roundups. Sorry cant find a picture. Last time I talked to him he was thinking of changing it back.

They are not good for street use(lousey turning radius)The gasser look is cool though. It was primarily used to get the front end up to aid weight transferr and loose some front end weight. On a street car, just plain awful.Ask some old racers they will tell you.

funny,...I had visions of it sitting a little higher,.

...I guess I've seen too many Ed Roth caricatures and was looking for the flames coming out of the fenderwell exit headers, with Ratfink driving :D

Thats probably a hot rod?straight axle??as opposed to an old truck/van straight axle.Looks to be sitting at a good height for street use.I pictured the reverse stink bug front bumper in the air stance. They are bouncy and skittish as well. But a street rod axle is probably mucho better since they are meant to do more than go straight.

well, if your gonna do a straight axle, may as well do it right,....as in , get that front end up there :thumbs2:

gassers are very cool! but, theres no point in doing one 1/2 assed(in my opinion), if your going to do it, you have to give it the right stance.

while your at it dont forget the panel paint job with some lace, fenderwells with dumps, just the right sized "oversized" tires, and its gotta have a 4 speed.(y)
