will this carburetor fit?

    how much power would this get? it should get decent power being a 4bbl right? :drive:

    just bolting on a 4 barrel wont necessarily pick it up any HP

    oh..i thought 4bbls allowed more gas to flow when you get on it...letting it go faster..compared to a 2bbl anyways..

    That last one looks like a marine carb.
    Boat carbs have the bowl vents tied together like that, among other changes.

    Boss 428 ? I don't think so. That carb was however an Autolite 4300, it would work on a 302 intake provided the secondary bores were not too large for the bores in the intake or carb spacer. Ford also used Rochester spread bores on the 429, 460 and some 351C's.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    A 4 bbl only gives you more power if the engine can make more power.IE: ignition tuning/free flowing exhaust/cam swap etc...The engine has to be able to use the extra fuel and air a 4 bbl gives it,otherwise power gains are minimal.5 to 7hp on an otherwise stock 302.Thats about it w/o mods.

    offroad carbs, dragracing etc also use this method so it doesnt throw fuel over the vent and down the venturies during hard takeoffs, going up/down a hill etc.


    The Avengers are sold widely to "land people" lol
