I want a dash with the glove box.
Radio and vent delete of course.
Smooth from the ashtray to the compartment door.

A friend of mine's father is Brazillian and goes back once or twice a year.
He said he might be able to help me, but he is not really a car guy and I don't want to impose. Wish he was into cars. I bet I could get a bunch of parts.

The side exhaust thingy is an American part for a Mustang that has been fitted to a Maverick. No need for Brazil for that.

    On the money...
When they put the "U", "US", or "USD" with the "$" sign, it is international langauge for "United States Dollars" and is in our currency.
All the countries of the world use different symbols for their currency.
    $ is ours.
So, 400 USD is $400, not $210 (or whatever exchange rate is).

    -Well fellas...

-When the guy said $450.plus 90 "chip",he said probably US Dollars, that is the problem...
-I post the ad saying i coul'd bring then parts here (US),the problem is that people down there is nuts,i talked with a lot of the "manufacturers" in Brazil and i had the opportunity of checking the parts and i must say that most of the parts may look very good in pictures but they're crappy quality, besides the prices these people ask down there is outrageously high, however, i think i found an alternative.
-The only way to bring that stuff here with a decent quality and reasonable prices, woul'd be to hire a guy down there that manufactures stuff in fiberglass, and cut a deal with him towards having small lots of stuff shipped here at affordable prices, and is underway...
-Pretty soon i'll set up a website with decent prices.
-Travelling to a place like Brazil after so many years away is quite a reality shock, instructive though...
-I visited some of the "factories" to check the parts, and i must say, some of then are depressing, the worst was to have some of the "industrialists"
playing hot shot over me,that was the pitts of ridiculous....
-Anyways,i managed to have some of the stuff on order to here!
-Some of the parts are impossible to send here, like bucket seats(better use some other Ford seats),and the dashboard(the part is a single metal piece welded to the body).
-Some others were surprisingly good, like the tach replica or the Grabber hood, the consoles i found only the original ones being sold locally at around $200. and up(U$),too much...
-So it's on the list to be replicated in fiberglass,it's a neat item.
-It will take some time, but as soon as some of the parts are available i'll let you guys know.

-Yes,it is ,the part is stamped outside but is attached to the body by mig welding, probably the american maverick is the same system and the main difference is that there is a cutout for the glove compartment lid,the lid is made out of metal and the botton of the glove compartment out of hard cardboard.
-The console have no lid and comes in 3 pieces:the body out of plastic, the center strip with the clock, slides out,and the surrounding metal trim made out of a nice stainless steel, also the GT model console have a switch for the fog lights.
-The automatic ones have a shifter like the 1973 mustang with the handle completely chromed.

yes. but if you cut the dash you can weld on the ones here i thought you meant that the dash was welded to the car!
