So Frank, let me get this straight. You change alternators to get rid of the voltage regulator and clean up the splash apron on that side. Then you put a bigger box on there with more wires going to it right where you cleaned up before. I don't know about you. LOL. Looks likes a neat installation. Effie's friend Jerry
yes... i took all the wires out and put back just the ones i needed. i have a pic. of the box with nothing in it i will post later. ...frank...
yep... you didn't see the.. 2-6 fuse blocks 1-6 wire hot link 5-relays they are all in one box now... ......
Looks good Frank! I've got two of those in my '73, one from a Nissan Sentra (fuses and relays for lights, horn, radio, and whatever), and one from a 2001 Ranger (for the engine from the Ranger). Put them in the trunk with the battery, they are down in the little drop off area behind the rear wheel in the trunk. Wires run up over the rear wheel well and down through the rocker panel, come out under the dash behind the passenger kick panel.
in my application it has ...purpose. with my... fool enjection elect. fan relay CD player blower motor relay amp elect. fuel pump relay headlight relays (1) high beam) (1) low beam OD lock out solenoid in AOD valvebody 100 amp alt. etc. etc. i was overloading the ...stock glass fuse panel... i still have (3) relays powered by but not in the box. it's not as pretty or hidden as i would have liked but it is fine for a ...daily driver... (always wanted to say that). ......
