Hello, I have came across a 73 ford Maverick it is yellow with white grabber striping and brown interior with a bench seat not buckets it has a 302 with a auto trans in it. I did not get to talk to the guy in person but he said it runs but smokes. I seen it had some rust holes in the rear quarters and the driver front driver floor board is rusted through and the dash pad is cracked up badly other than that the hole car looks original even the stock wheels with hub caps and beauty rings.

What would a car be worth like this? he told me to make a offer.

In my opinion, the driver side is obviously used the most so the passanger side may be rusted through also, you just cant see it. Try pouring water down the front glass and cowl and see if it leaks into the car. If it does than it may not be for you if you plan to just drive it and have no garage... good luck.:drive:

Both rear quarters had a hole about the size of a half a dollar rusted though. I was going to take my cam but I forgot it.

Couldn't say. I don't think any Mav or Comet is worth more than 200 till I see it in person, may be worth the parts only for all I know. Sorry...

    let's see

build motor...(batt. alt. starter, coil, plug wires etc. etc.)
    build trans...
    new rear gears...
    tires/wheels...
    new brakes...
    new frontend parts...
redo inside (seats, carpet, dashpad and headliner)...

now what is a ...body full of holes ...worth to put all this in? JMO

Car's worth $500-600 just to part out,700-800 seems fair if you want to keep it.It is after all a (sorta) small bumpered v8 Grabber.
