After seeing Derek's post looking for nostalgia wheels, I ran across this web page. I found it pretty interesting. http://www.roadsters.com/wheels/
Ok now you have me really exited about some old wheels. I would be happy to find a pair of Torque thrust "D"or ET style,"Daisy's or similar skinnys too. Good link thanks for posting. Derek.
I had a set of old Keystone 5 slot aluminum wheels on my Maverick from the early 80's till the time I parked it. When I restored the car I stored them at my work place.(no room in the garage) I kept checking on them from time to time to make sure they were still there. About a month ago they came up missing and no one knows what happened to them. GREW LEGS I GUESS Ken
cool page! thanks for posting. BTW ... I just saw Ansen Sprint wheels on eBay that are brand new. They are bring them back. :bananaman I think they have 15x7s and 15x8.5s.
yeah, American Racing bought Ansen and they are now selling them brand new. I got mine 5 days ago. They're already on the mav! 4.5" backspace with 255/60/R15 tires at the rear end. I've got like .5" of clearance (without spacers), no rubbing issues, only when going fast over a speedbump.
Here's a few Ansen eBay ads...check out the pic below.
