vacuum on back of torker 289

    ok so i got a torker 289 and i took the old intake off and was gonna use the vacuum port at the back of it on the torker BUT it was tooo big to fit int the torker....my question is where do i get a new one for the torker 289?

    the thing im looking for is for the vacuum lines to the transmission and some other stuff but i REALLY need it ....im stumped...looked everywhere

    my car ....72 auto transmission maverick of course:p

    If the threaded hole is to big, get bushing to reduce /adapt it down.
    If the threaded hole is to small, replace the fitting with a new one that fits the hole size.
    Home Depot, or any plumbing supply should have the thread size you need to adapt to the hose size.

    When I was using that intake, I had a 3/8" nipple in that hole, and put a plastic T on it that had smaller nipples on the other side. I ran those to the trans and into the firewall for heater control valve.

    You could also put in some fittings to make it smaller coming right out of the intake and T it off from there. There is no RIGHT way, just whatever works.
