    31---Comet 2 dr sedan/standard or GT
    F---8-302 2 bbl 137-138 hp
    51XXX---consecutive unit number

    Body#62B---Comet 2 dr sedan/standard or GT
    Color#9A---?
    Trim#HA---Black tooled leather/Corinth vinyl.(L/B bench)
    Trans#W---C4 automatic
    Axle#6---3.00:1
    DSO#21---Atlanta

I have the halo top and she's white.

    Pearl White is #9C
    Black vinyl roof is #A

Is the 9A in my color code indicating white with black vinyl top? The 73 decoder has no 9A.
In 1972 9A meant White body color...
Does that mean the HA is Black - Ruffino / Corinth. Vinyl as in the 72 codes?

Once again my car has confused me with it's numbers vs year.

9A is wimbledon white, which is an off white. Its the base color of my Sprint and a color that Ford used since the 50's. Although in the 50's it was called colonial white.
