    hi again!
on my 71 grabber i upgraded to a 1976 maverick 5 lug rear end.it came out a 6 cylinder car.(250 ci). the ratio is 3.00
what kind of rear end is everyone running with a 'rather ugly'302 with a 3000 stall?
i was thinking 3.80's as i drive it daily in the summer on the highway but also want some good launch out at the track
any feed back would be great!
    thanks

    380's

I'm running 3.80's in my mav with a 3,000 stall and 245/60 14's it's alot of fun! on the highway it runs about 3300 at about 70mph tough to tell with the speedo off, now it shows 15mph faster than it should at the strip on street tires I ran a best of,
    9.54@72.6mph-- 1/8 mile
    .625 RT
    2.15 60'

I now have a pair of 28X10-15 M/T ET Drags won't be able to try them till summer hopefully running with a little nitrous!

I had 3.73s in a 9in rearend in a daily driver, they were a great compromise for the street and I used a separate set of gears (4.57) in a second pumpkin I changed out for race duty.

i am running a 3.00 ratio 9 inch in my car right now and i also have a 3000 stall. it is great on the highway, but i can lay down a patch as long as i want to with it still. There is a 3.79 stump in my garage ready to be put in if i ever need it:D
