I am allocated 10 M storage on my server, and have more like 17 right now, but just recently started having trouble uploading stuff. So, I think I need to trim down my website.

For those who have seen it, what kinds of things do you think I can live without on there?

I really need to cut out pictures, since they suck up the most storage space.

Which pics do you think I can remove without detracting from the quality of the website?

OR, if anyone can suggest other FREE storage, please let me know...

yea ive checked out your page once or twice, good stuff

alot of people on cardomain.com have very detailed layouts like you do. you can have as many pages as you want for the same car i believe. i keep all mine to just 1 but ive seen some where the people have 20 pages detailing the whole buildup

just a free alternative you may want to consider

I'd hate to see any of the info go Scooper....I frequent your site quite a bit, usually wishing I had stuck to my plans of documenting my build. All I have now are scattered pics and info in no real order:mad:

Man at first when I saw downsizing I thought you were selling the car! I voted for the engine since you are putting as new one in. :thumbs2:

well you could always put up lower quality pics, that would take up much less space

u can do this either in photoshop, or i think the easiest way is just to open them in paint and resave as a jpeg, i belive that cuts down the file size quite a bit

Good point on the pic quality...I could reset them to much lower quality and free up lots of space...

Actually, just keep the pics to a minimum if they aren't necessary to the theme. A couple, or one, of you is probably good unless you are showing off new parts or the installation/modification of parts. People want to see the steps it takes to do the job because that shows them how to do it for themselves.

If using photoshop change image size a bit and use save for web, it will change the compression for the jpg...makes them smaller and they open up faster as well
