For some reason my post count under my name is stuck at 99 and won't roll over. I ignored it at first, but after at least 5 posts it's still stuck....What should I do?
FWIW, when you post on some areas of the board, such as Off Topic, they do not count towards your post count. Therefore, you could make a dozen posts in off topic all at the same time and your post count will not increase. Honestly, your post count dosen't really matter. I've seen several boards with it turned off. I am a member of one of those, and occasionally the admin will let us know how many posts the top posters have just for the fun of it (I have over 13,000 there since 2002, but don't post much anymore). I have also seen boards where the post count becomes like a "status symbol", and if yours is low, you aren't part of the "in" crowd of regulars and are treated disrespectfully. That is total and should never happen, don't know why administrators of boards like that allow it to go on.
