Wilwood makes a kit that mounts right to the Maverick drum spindle, might be easier than trying to make something work when your not sure about what you need.

Matt, I measured all the dimensions on my spindle and they made it to fit perfectly. Just make a nice clean, accurate drawing and fax it to them. I had the 4-bolt spindle too. Some of the sales people don't want to deal with it, but they can do it easily. You just have to talk to the right guy. I think I talked to Joe?

well i think we went with the wilwoods. my parents are giving these to me as a christmas present and gave me the choice of aerospace and wilwood. i chose aerospace origionally because it sounds a little cheaper but wilwood has the kit on the shelf and it sound like less hassles. thanks for the help Erick. I'm currently switching to Wilwood's myself.

Your gonna love the disc brakes...they should save 20lbs per side over the drums and stop much better.:thumbs2:

I had Wilwood on my old Maverick,,, didn't like them , pinto front end, Had to custom the brackets so pads didn't over ride the rotors. Talked to others with MII front ends, they had same problem. With the override you had to grind away the pad every so often so they would not touch each other and not hit rotor (part of pad that was outside of rotor) New car went with Strange brakes, installation was a snap, fit great, have not run car yet, but expecting great results My vote, no Wilwood.

Definitely a matter of opinion.......Mark Williams is considered a better product in most ranks.

Yes I do believe in opinions. Might just want to carefully fit your brakes on spindles an see how they fit. Wilwood sells tons of kits an works for many people. On my fitment, it was not a installation problem but a design problem. I did talk to the techs an explain this (about 3 years ago) It may have been corrected since. If you go Wilwood and calipers line pads up with rotors 100% go with it! They worked well for me except for the pad alignment
