I know most of you don't have rack systems, I just need to know how much effort is involved in steering a non-power car vs power assist car.

I plan to add an RCMotorsports front clip to my "new" Mav and it comes with a manual rack. The engine I plan on using has a power steering pump, but I'm not convinced a light car like this will need power steering...

    Thanks!

Both Tammy's car and Kens car have the power racks. Both have RCMotorsports Mustang II, tubular a arms and 2" drop spindals. Tammy's car has 245 front tires and Kens has 255's the power works great with these wide tires. The only issue we have is the racks suppled do not have farrels to seal the hoses they use O ring washers and they leak.

    Good to know, thanks.

Looking for input from drivers w/manual steering, how's the low speed effort?
