Who in Woodstock GA bought the $1K Grabber Hood?

FYI ...

Remember that guy yesterday selling the supposedly Mint Condition Grabber Hood? I was going to buy it for $600 as soon as he sent the pictures before I drove up to Chattanooga to get it ...

I got this email from him today ...


hood is sold,i had it on another site for 1000.00,man called from woodstock,ga.came and bought,said he had never found one this nice and o.e.m.

 

I guess money talks. Or in this case screamed. And they say the economy is down.

 

Yup ... I emailed him back with a congratulations ... that is surely a new record ...

I wonder if Hagerty can insure body parts separately in case they get stolen!

 

Guess I should go make sure mine is still in the shed. Maybe i should move it to a vault.

 

after seeing him fussin with other members and his language I was ashamed to be a hillbilly.

Was this the hood that was listed with all the other parts in the for sale forum? I thought he was wanting to sell all the parts in one group.

 

In my book $1000 would put a top end on a motor that would require a hood to be "optional".

I know of a carbon fiber that kicks the crap out of any stock hood for less.

 

to me a thousand dollars for a hoob is insane. i could prolly buy 4-5 cars with that kinda extra money.... but that's just my thoughts

 

One of my customers took his super nice Grabber to a friend of mine and had it restored to as perfect a car as I've seen,he bought a NOS OEM Grabber hood off ebay about a year ago and paid 1000.00 for it also,I got his old one,no rust,basecoat clear almost perfect,but not perfect enough for him,(paid almost as much for that hood as I did for my Maverick!) But still cheap as I don't have over 1500.00 in the car and hood ,like they say money talks...

 

I would love to see pictures of your customers Grabber if you or your friend has any ...
