Well I finally got some time to work on the new car I got the granada hinges in and the gas struts, boy does this work great. I also got the engine mounts and trans mounts in. Modified a rear sump pan to clear the Jag cross member, it also should have gained some capacity. The last thing I have been working on is making Pinto door handles work. I think they fit the car better, and that's just my opinion.
Here's the t-5 trans mount, the engine is pushed 2" rearward to get fit the jag front suspension. This should also make it handle better.
It must be nice to have time to work on your stuff. I am jealous. I got to find another job..... Looks like good progress. Cleaver
i got plenty of time to work on mine,, just not enough money to do what i want to do to it lol.. damn unemployment!! (
i second that!! i had to get a minumim wage job to try to get back on my feet.. mental break downs are tough but im feeling much better now
You impress the hell out of Jeff Ford. For what it's worth, you impress the hell out of me too. Anyway, I met him at the NPD show in FL and he was talking about your cars. He couldnt remember your name, (I reminded him), but he definately liked what you are doing with your cars. I think Selby's selection of a Maverick project car will give us some more lime light.
Thanks Dennis for the kind words my goal for this car is to be cool and be 2/3's as clean as your sprint. The last third is because I don't have a rotissory to clean the bottom
That car is going to be trick!! Keep us posted with info and pics as it progresses. I like that pan!!!! Dan
