I know of 4 and i don't even have to leave my property. I think there's about 3 more in my town of 3000. I also know of 7-8 more in the area.
I have five running (and two parts cars) out of a total I once had of fifteen. I have a shed full of parts. I own twelve cars total. Pay $290 month in shed fees (which is about 10% of my take home salary). Figure I can afford to spend that much on ME!!!! Wife disagrees of course!
My 69 in my avitar was a running car till i desided to go thru the engine and trans and freshen up the seals and gaskets for the long drive to the round up this year. I also have a 71 Comet GT with a 302 that runs like a raped ape,, the other 2 mavericks run but are not road worthy,,, The Stallion will be running in a few months as well,, getting a complete going over,, and restored,, had collision damage but has 5,000 miles on her,,, Not sure if it will make it to the round up,,,but I am trying,,Lol
Ihave 19 cars and a lot of parts.Anybody care to tell me how to id a sprint,I'd appreciate it.I'm also lookin for another grabber hood.
I've been seeing more and more in my area, I'm currently working on a picture album with every one that I've seen driving around, probably about 20 or so
I have a 72 2door w/200 6 it has a broke crank, but I have a 351 w engine and trans. out of a continental, if I ever get around to putting it together. I have a 75 Mav. 4 door w/ 302. I had a guy offer me $1200 for all, he did not get them. Pic p.s. Also I noticed on GA hwy 300 in Warwick, which is close to Cordele, GA there is a Mav. for sale. Looks pretty good body w/o motor
I still have my 74 Maverick, 302 factory, bucket seats, cut pile carpet, all you could get. But I remember that the 6 cylinder 3 on the tree cars were what we called disposable cars. For a couple thousand dollars you could buy a good looking Maverick then drive it till its dead without a thought. who would have thought we should have put one in the barn.
