Um...I think I have it narrowed down to a 4776 600 double pumper, based on the numbers on the metering blocks.

So you don't have them in the air horn?

    Blugene, where you been man!!!

No air horn, choke and choke tower removed, power valve has been blown and previous owner has tuned it down to 65/67 jets. Ran like crap when I got it.

I now have it jetted up to 68/72 and it runs much better, but needs to be richer on higher rpms...Starts and idles much better, even without a choke, but starts to starve at 4000rpms, when the secondaries kick in.

I have the Holley jetting kit that has ALL of the jets for the gasoline engines, so I will just keep rich-ing it up until it likes it.

Guess I don't know what a airhorn is :hmmm:... I thought it was the part on the top with the choke plate in it.

I just read in the manual that it is a air horn. The list # is on it.

Previous owner has cut the airhorn off, or it never had one. I don't see any leftovers that suggest one was on there, but there is still the shaft in the side where the choke used to hook up, so I am assuming it once had a choke and the horn was cut off.

Not sure, which is part of the reason this carb is so fun to work with...:D

    Double the challenge!

I just looked at the pics in the other thread I forgot about:rolleyes:. Looks to me like it never had one.
I WAS all happy to have found this Holley manual at the half price book store. Trying to look your #s up made me realize that not even mine (4777) isn't in there :(.

Keep him on his toes, guys!!!

Honestly, Blu, I couldn't have gotten where I was without your book.

I copied the exploded diagram and matched it to the Holley diagram in their rebuild kit and your pic was more exact than theirs.

I don't know if I bought the wrong rebuild kit for if the instructions were wrong for my model, but your book was closer than the Holley instructions...

Here are the Walmart shoes she is referring to...

One toe-nail has rotted off, but with lots of care, application of medication, and cutting away of fungal matter, it seems to be getting better...

These are called my DUH-NUH DUN-NUH shoes...

    i wish...

I don't wish blisters or anything gross like that, but I wish they made his feet itch or something so he would throw them away. They are hideous. I think he is adding a pic. to the link above. I just love it when he wears them with tube socks, though!!!:bananaman:bananaman
