What year's had 7.5 rears

Well I cam across a car today that had a 7.5 rear but had the key in the column. I thought 7.5 rears were only found in 69.5 cars ???
Someone edjumicate me

 

They were also in the '70 models.

 

ALL 69.5 and '70 models had the 7.5

 

Not ALL 1970's. Toward the end of the model year they started putting 8" rear axles in them.

 

Yup, my 70 Grabber has an 8"

 

yeah, now come to think of it Tim (Keck) owned a '70 with a 250 and an 8" not too long ago.
