I am removing the bodyside molding and would like to know how to remove the door panels to get the bolt outs without hacking the doorpanels as the wood breaks off easily of messing up the clips for re-use? Are there any tricks to easily take the clips off?

Any tips to get the holes filled? Can you melt in metal rod on a vertical door? Can I MIG weld the holes?

    Thanks

No need to remove the door panels to get the outside trim off. The outside trim can be removed without taking off the door panels. There is nothing inside the door to access in order to get the trim off.

There are no holes in the middle of the door if it is factory trim. Just need to grind off the metal tabs.

Rear quarter trim is mounted like front fenders, door only have 2 fasteners. One on inside dege of the door at rear(latch end) and one in same place at front of door, inside dege(hinge END)Rear quarter trim fasteners are accessed from inside trunk and behind rear inner side panels.

If you have the thick LDO trim, that is correct. However, the factory thin trim does have holes.

I have never seen holes on doors for the thin trim either.

Now I am going to half to go look.

They are metal push clips attached to the back of the door panel around the edges.
