I found my first one already taken off and put to the side of the car, against the fender. Cost me $20, though.

Kinda like they are taking them off to take out some other part that is revered by Taurus restorers...:hmmm:

Pull-A-Part sells them for $11.48 + tax. There are literally dozens of Tauruses (Tauri? :biglaugh: ) in there. Don't know how far you are from Louisville, but it looks like the Pull-A-Part there has tons of them also.

if i travel to louisville anytime soon i may stop and look around, but around here i can prolly get everyone i find for $10 flat. oh, and i did discover that the 3.8 fans are different from the 3.0 fans... dunno why Ford would have done that but there's a big difference between them

I need to go to the junkyards out here and look for one. Problem is, all the yards out here have their streets paved in gold. $$$$$:)

Also most of the JY's here have the motors already out. How can you tell a 3.6 from a 3.0 if the motor is not there?:)

The 3.8 is a 2-speed fan and has 3 wires, the 3.0 is signal speed and has 2 wires.
