    Dangit Craig,, I been tryin to drive to Roundup too. My 77 is too worn all over to make it. My 71 build is for a driver, but time and money have slowed the build. I have the body half done, maybe in 2009. I am getting tired of trailering, but the stallion has never been more than a hundred miles under its own power. But on the positive side, it has never been restored, so it is a true survivor. More power too you bud!

    I will be driving mine up again with the cargo carrier on it the same as last year. I have driven mine to Myrtle Beach twice and had no major issues although AC would be nice to have:whew:.

    Driving really is the only way to enjoy the whole picture of the event. I drove to Columbus 8 years ago to my second Roundup and had a blast. I even took home the trophy presented by National Trail Raceway for driving the furthest to the show.(y)

    Only thing that happened was loosing my A/C before I even got to Tennessee. It was still 102 degrees when I reached Memphis at 8:00 PM!

    [I DO recommend driving by yourself, though. By the time you have all of todays necessities, including tools, etc., there isn't much room]!!
