    lol, spings :)

    SPRINGS

    Whats everyone using?

    What spring rate and length?

Can you use drag race specific springs on a street car? If not, why?

    Thanks

I dont know what everybody else uses but i have 70 six cylinder springs on mine with half a round cut off. And my car has seen 1.46 sixty foots on those. But, im sure if you just want a drag specific spring theres one out there somewhere.

1.46 is good. I have 70 6 cyl springs, I can use them if they work. Sounds like the will.

    What shocks you use?

    Thanks

I use competition engineering three way adjustable on the front and cheepies on the rear. In fact the fronts were at 70/30.

Got 6 cyl springs on mine also but not cut. QA1 adjustable shocks on front.

IMO.....if your looking for maximum performance, do not cut the springs :) I have went 1.39 in my car with the above mentioned springs. I cut 1 1/2 round off (for looks :D) and now its in the 1.50 range with nothing else done to the car.

Im using my stock V8 springs with 1 coil removed. I did not see a 60' change when I took the coil out. Still low 1.60s

i've had consistent mid 1.30's for 60 ft times before and after i cut one round off my stock springs. I could'nt tell any difference in the launch but it sure looks better!

Well this should get a responce?

    First, no I'm not dead.

Second, just like Maverick8003 said, it will look better.
If you want to improve your 60's change to a racing front shock 90/10.

    Not really for street use.

RICKY AKA Killcomet... Comet LOOKING GOOD!

As always just my 02, that you haven't heard in awhile.

    Blessing
    Terry
